Basic Procedure for Getting
Dental Veneers
Consultation
The process begins with a consultation with your dentist to determine if veneers are the right option for you. During this visit, the dentist will discuss your goals and may take X-rays or impressions of your teeth.

Preparation
For porcelain veneers, a small amount of enamel is removed from the front and sides of the teeth to make room for the veneers. This step may not be necessary for Lumineers.
An impression of your teeth is taken and sent to a dental laboratory where your custom veneers are crafted. This can take 1-2 weeks.
Bonding
Once the veneers are ready, the dentist will place them on your teeth to check the fit and color. Minor adjustments can be made at this stage.
The teeth are then cleaned, polished, and etched to create a strong bonding surface.
A special cement is applied to the veneer, which is then placed on the tooth. A curing light is used to harden the cement quickly

Temporary Veneers
(Optional)
Some patients receive temporary veneers to wear while waiting for the permanent ones, especially if a significant amount of enamel has been removed.
Final Adjustments
After the veneers are bonded, the dentist may make final adjustments to ensure a perfect fit. A follow-up appointment may be scheduled to check the veneers and make any necessary adjustments.
Veneers can transform a smile and are a popular choice for patients looking to address cosmetic dental concerns. Regular dental visits and good oral hygiene can help ensure the longevity of your veneers.
